Down Time is a Drop Tower located at Lake Compounce in Bristol, Connecticut, USA. The ride opened on May 15, 2004.[1]
History
The ride originally opened at Visionland (now Alabama Adventure and Splash Adventure) in 2001 and was paired with a Space Shot tower, now known as Blast Off at Six Flags Darien Lake. Both towers were called StratosFear Screamer. The two towers were both leased from S&S Worldwide and eventually due to financial problems, the Turbo Drop was later returned to S&S and was sold to Lake Compounce.[2]
