HELP

Extreme is a Miami built by UK manufacturer Nottingham UK currently owned and travelled by UK showman John Birch.

History

The ride was sold by Funland to an independent operator in December 2022 for the park to fund costs for the Flume of Doom. However, in April 2023, the park confirmed on its Facebook page that the ride would be returning following a refurbishment by it's current owner. The new version of the ride was refurbished at Normanton UK, featuring a brand new 16-seat gondola, and a new ride control system provided by Magitec Amusements LTD. The ride returned to the park at the end of June, and reopened on 1 July.[1] The ride left Funland for the last time afterwards, with the park introducing a new larger Miami for the 2024 season.

In 2024 ownership of the ride transferred from Evan Moran Jnr. to John Birch.[2]
