Ghost Train was a Tracked Dark Ride built by UK manufacturer Supercar that previously operated at Barry Island Pleasure Park in Barry Island, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, UK.

History

The ride started life as a space-themed multi-level roller ghoster called Journey Into Mars in 1963. It later became the more simply themed & titled Ghost Train, although retaining the multiple level track system. The ride was rebuilt onto a single deck and completely redesigned by John Wardley, reopening as Uncle Frankenstein's Scream Machine for the 1975 season. In the early 1980s the ride reverted to the more traditional Ghost Train name, before being scrapped at the end of the 1986 season. It was replaced by a portable dark ride from Europe called Fantomas for the 1987 season.
