Haunted Goldmine was a Tracked Dark Ride built by UK manufacturer Modern Products / self-built by the park, that previously operated at Barry Island Pleasure Park in Barry Island, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, UK. The ride was one of a number to replace the park's demolished Scenic Railway, and originally opened as The Magic Island. For the 1977 this became The Whacky Goldmine, which was designed by John Wardley. Later again it was altered and renamed to become Haunted Goldmine. Wood from the Scenic Railway was involved in the ride's construction.
