Family Boomerang is a family shuttle roller coaster model manufactured by Vekoma. It is designed as a more family-friendly version of the Boomerang model.

Design

The ride is like a Boomerang except this model features no inversions. Instead there is a figure-eight helix.

Trains

Single train with 20 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 40 riders per train.

Ride Experience

After being pulled backwards up the first spike by friction wheels, the train is launched downwards and through the figure-eight helix. The train then loses momentum on the second vertical rollback, and is caught. It is then launched backwards through the course. The train passes through the station and up the first spike. The train is then caught and brought slowly to the station.[1]
