HELP

Looping Star is a steel roller coaster located at Keansburg Amusement Park in Keansburg, New Jersey, USA. The ride was built by Pinfari.

History

The coaster was manufactured in 1985. It opened at Beech Bend in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 2001,[1] having previously travelled with US carnival operator Amusements of America. It was moved within the park for the 2006 season. Looping Star was closed in September 2009. The attraction was relocated to Sauble Beach Fun World in Ontario, Canada, but only operated during the 2011 season. It sat standing but not operating in 2012 before it was dismantled.

In 2013, Keansburg Amusement Park announced that it had purchased the Looping Star from Sauble Beach and that it would replace the Wild Cat.[2] It was expected to open on Memorial Day (May 30),[3] but was delayed. It opened on July 5, 2015.[4]
