Red Car Trolley was a Trolley manufactured by Brookville Equipment Corporation formerly located at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California, USA.
About
Red Car Trolley opened with the newly-refurbished Buena Vista Street-themed area on June 15, 2012.[1] The attraction is a 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 3⁄8 in) metre-gauge tramway and features two replica trams.
In April 2019, the attraction temporarily closed as the construction of Avengers Campus required the attraction to undergo a reroute.[2] The attraction was due to reopen in 2020, but did not reopen until August 2022 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic delaying the opening of the area and the closure of the entire Disneyland Resort.[3]
At the end of August 2024, Disney announced that the attraction would be closing at the beginning of 2025 to prepare for the Avengers Campus expansion, of which it will take over the land where the attraction's trolley barn is located within.[4] The ride's closure date of February 8 was announced in December.[5] One of the trolleys will remain in the Buena Vista Street area after the closure, where it will be used as a photo op.[6]
