Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, originally known as The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, is an indoor Drop Tower located at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California, USA.
History
The ride opened as The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror on May 5, 2004. Although similar to the existing Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA, it used a different ride system and building design.
On July 23, 2016, Disney Parks announced that the ride would close in January and be re-themed to the Guardians of the Galaxy film franchise.[1] The ride would reopen as Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission: BREAKOUT! on May 25, 2017.
