HELP

it's a small world is a Boat Ride/Dark Ride located at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, USA. Originally opening in 1964 at the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair, the ride contains a large amount of small animatronic dolls and scenes all themed to countries around the world, and world peace. Since the ride's relocation to Disneyland in 1966, the ride has been cloned to four other parks.

History

The ride was originally opened in 1964 at the New York World's Fair. Before arriving to the fair, the ride was fabricated at WED Enterprises as "Children of The World", where it was sent to the fair shortly afterwards. The ride would prove to be one of the most successful rides at the fair.

After the fair ended, the ride, along with other elements of the fair, were sent to Disneyland in 1966.[1] It opened on May 30, 1966.[2][3] When the ride opened at Disneyland, the ride proved to be even more of a hit. The ride follows guests as they ride a boat cruise, with dolls and figures in their local costumes singing "It's A Small World" in their native languages in their respective countries.

The ride was originally sponsored by the Bank of America from opening until 1992.[4]

In 2008, the ride received a refurbishment that added several Disney characters in their native countries. The ride's old fiberglass boats were also replaced.
