HELP |
King Arthur Carrousel is a Dentzel carousel at Disneyland Park, Anaheim, California, USA.
History
In 1922, the carousel opened at Sunnyside Amusement Park in Toronto, Canada. The park closed in 1955, and the ride was relocated to Disneyland Park.
On July 17, 1955, King Arthur Carrousel opened with the park following a refurbishment from Arrow Development.
In 2003, the carousel was refurbished again including an added row of horses and a bench for accessibility.[1]
Design
King Arthur Carrousel consists of 68 hand-carved horses as well as a single bench for accesibility reasons.
The ride plays a list of various organ covers of Disney songs.
