HELP

Sequoia Magic Loop was a steel roller coaster located at Gardaland in Castelnuovo del Garda, Italy. The ride opened on 30 April 2005. It is one of only three Screaming Squirrel installations from S&S Power (now S&S Worldwide).

History

In March 2018, the ride was removed from Gardaland's website. This followed the ride being classed as standing but not operating since June 2017, however, in November 2018, it was confirmed by Gardaland that the ride would reopen in 2019 with a magic theme and a new name, Sequoia Magic Loop.

Sequoia Magic Loop did not operate at all in 2022. In December 2022, Gardaland applied for a permit to demolish the coaster.[1] The coaster was demolished the following year.[2]

Design

It features three elements known as a saxophone, where the cars turned 180 degrees down into a flat inverted section of track.

Trains

Single cars. Riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 4 riders per car.
