Serengeti Flyer is a Screamin' Swing installation at Busch Gardens Tampa in Tampa, Florida, USA.
History
Busch Gardens Tampa started on Serengeti Flyer's installation in 2020 with foundation and underground work, but stopped during the COVID-19 pandemic. Work resumed in April 2022. The attraction re-used the former Rhino Rally queue and loading area.[1]
The addition of Serengeti Flyer was announced on October 11, 2022.[2]
The ride opened on February 27, 2023, following three days of passholder previews.[3][4]
Design
The ride structure is 105 feet tall and it reaches a maximum height of 135 feet and a maximum speed of 68 mph while in operation.[2]
