Thriller was a wooden roller coaster previously located at Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
History
Thrilled was designed by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters in October 1923 and erected during the 1923-1924 off-season.[1] Thriller opened in 1924. The ride originally featured a 60.5 foot tall second hill, but the height of that hill was later decreased to nearly a third of that.[2][3] Alterations were also made on the series of small hills at the end of the ride.[4] The ride originally operated with up to three trains, each with three cars of four rows. By the early 1960s, only a maximum of two trains operated due to overhead and safety concerns.[5]
