Wildcat is a steel roller coaster built by German manufacturer Schwarzkopf currently located at Adventure Park USA in New Market, Maryland, USA.

History

Wildcat at Steel Pier in 1996
Wildcat at Williams Grove in 2004

The ride first opened at Busch Gardens: The Old Country in 1976 called Die Wildkatze. It closed in 1983. The station for Big Bad Wolf stood where Die Wildkatze once stood.

It was relocated to Playland Park in Rye, New York, USA, where it operated under the name Wild Cat from 1984 to 1991. Then, the ride was relocated to Steel Pier, where it also operated as Wildcat. From 2001 to 2005 the coaster operated at Williams Grove Amusement Park in Pennsylvania.

In 2017, the ride's maintenance building was destroyed in a fire[1]. The attraction lost five out of six cars and only runs one to this day.
