Colossus is a Ferris Wheel built by Dutch manufacturer C.A.H. currently located at Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka, Missouri, USA.
History
The Ferris Wheel opened at the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA on May 12, 1984.
Six Flags won a bid competition for the attraction after the fair's closure on November 11, 1984 and relocated it to Six Flags Over Mid-America. The ride was re-assembled by J.S. Alberici Construction Co. Inc., with the combined purchase price and re-construction costs totaling $1.2 million.[1]
Colossus opened at its current location on April 18, 1986.[2]
