Penguin's Blizzard River is a Spinning Raft ride built by Canadian manufacturer WhiteWater West currently located at Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, USA.
History
The ride was first rumored in December 2002 and was confirmed in January 2003 by Amusement Business.
In early February 2003, Six Flags America sent out some snow globes to the press hinting and teasing the new attraction.[1]
On February 17, 2003, Penguin's Blizzard River was officially announced by Six Flags America.[2] It opened on April 11, 2003.
