Voodoo Drop, previously known as Tower of Doom, is a Drop Tower built by Swiss manufacturer Intamin currently located at Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, USA.
History
When the ride first opened in 1996, it was originally named Tower of Doom.[1]
Tower of Doom and other Intamin drop towers temporarily closed on June 22, 2007 following an accident on the similar Superman: Tower of Power at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.[2] The ride later reopened.
The attraction was renamed Voodoo Drop in 2014 when the new Mardi Gras area was added.[3]
Voodoo Drop would receive a single rider line in 2022.[4]
