History
Shipwreck Falls was one of several new attractions to be added to Wild World in 1993.[1]
In July 2024, the ride was closed for the season as fences were seen blocking off the ride.
On April 10, 2025, Six Flags America announced that Shipwreck Falls would be reopening later in spring following a refurbishment.[2]
