Sling Shot is a Slingshot built by Austrian manufacturer Funtime currently located at Elitch Gardens in Denver, Colorado, USA.
History
The ride first opened at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom in 2002, where it was known as Slingshot.
In 2003, the ride was repainted with a American flag theme. It was removed after the 2004 season.
The ride was then sent to Six Flags New England in Agawam, Massachusetts, USA, where it was planned to be installed for the 2005 season, but this was cancelled due to the local government not approving the ride.[1]
The ride was later relocated to Six Flags Elitch Gardens where it reopened in 2006 as Sling Shot.
