Top Thrill Page Split
Should Top Thrill 2 be split into its own page, as most of the track is new, the layout is different, the trains are different, and the ride has a new name? That has been done for similar RMC conversions, such as Steel Vengeance and Mean Streak, as well as other conversions, such as how Clipper was converted to Shooting Star after the majority of the ride was torn down and rebuilt with a new layout. - I personally support keeping the ride as a single page. Although the ride received new trains and offers a new experience, the same could be said of conversions like Mantis to Rougarou, or adjustments like Turn of the Century to Demon, which both have a single page on Coasterpedia. Even with new track added, Top Thrill 2 maintained most of the original structure and track with the top hat left as is. Time93 (talk) 18:38, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- Mantis did recieve new trains through its conversion, though the track layout remained the same, and the conversion was done by the same manufacturer. When Turn of the Century was converted to Demon, the layout did have a minor change with the two new loops instead of airtime hills, though it was likely still done by Arrow Dynamics. I feel that Top Thrill 2 may be different, as its conversion was done by a separate manufacturer, most track was replaced, the layout was changed, and the launch system was changed. There seems to be no official line made by Coasterpedia for when a ride conversion gets a separate page. George (talk) 02:12, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- I did think about making a new Top Thrill 2 page but decided against it. I can't remember why! Steel Phantom and Phantom's Revenge are separate pages. I think it comes down to whether we can say Zamperla manufactured Top Thrill 2. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 07:45, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
