Shooting Star was a wooden roller coaster previously located at Coney Island in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.

History

In 1946, Clipper was permanently closed and was converted into Shooting Star. It used the lift hill and final helix formerly used by Clipper.

The relocation of Shooting Star was considered, but it was instead decided to demolish Shooting Star and build Racer instead.[1]

Mighty Canadian Minebuster opened at Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada in 1981. It is a mirrored version of Shooting Star.
