Blue Mountain Engines is a Junior Sea Storm built by Italian manufacturer Zamperla currently located at Drayton Manor Resort in Fazeley, Staffordshire, England, UK.
About
The ride is based on the Thomas & Friends cartoon series. It features eight cars, four of which are based on the Skarloey Railway engines - Skarloey, Rheneas, Sir Handel, and Peter Sam, while the rest are themed after narrow-gauge trucks.
The ride opened in May 2011 in vacant space that was previously home to Terence's Driving School, which had relocated to the Farmer McColl's Farm subarea to make way for the ride.[1]
The ride relocated to the Thomas Land expansion which had opened in April 2015. Merrick the Crane was added to the middle of the attraction, but was eventually moved next to it in later years.
