Thomas, Rosie and Percy Engine Tours (formerly Thomas and Percy Engine Tours) is a Miniature Railway built by German manufacturer Metallbau Emmeln currently located at Drayton Manor Theme Park in Fazeley, Staffordshire, England, UK.

Design

The attraction consists of a steam locomotive and five carriages that run on a Narrow-Gauge layout from Thomas Land over to Farmer McCall's Farm. There are two turntables at the end of each section and some sidings allowing the engine to turn around to pull the train on each side.

When the attraction first opened in March 2008, two engines operated on the track - Thomas the Tank Engine, who pulls Annie and Clarabel; and Percy the Small Engine,[1][2] who pulls the red coaches. The Thomas engine is a duplicate of the one used at Drusillas Park, and at Six Flags parks in North America.

In 2009, a third engine - Rosie, was added. She alternates with Percy every day pulling the red coaches, meaning that two engines continue to run at any one time.

For the 2014 Drayton's Magical Christmas event, the engines began to be decorated for the event, each gaining wrapped-around lights. Thomas also gained antlers and a red nose, taken from the episode "Santa's Little Engine". Thomas gained a CGI-style face beginning with this event.

In 2015, Percy and Rosie gained CGI-style faces as well, alongside their eyes transitioning from "pie eye" to "pin-point" to match the CGI renders better. In 2019, Rosie was repainted to her new red livery, alongside the removal of her makeup on the face. In 2023, Thomas gained flags and a hat, to celebrate the area's 15th anniversary.[3]
