An article on Codona's Amusement Park from 1977 which mentions the Galaxy

Galaxy was a steel roller coaster built by Italian manufacturer SDC. It formerly operated at Codona's Amusement Park from 1978 until 1998. The ride was subsequently relocated to Loudoun Castle where it operated from 1999 to 2002.

A newspaper report from October 1977 quotes Alan Codona: "In the past seven months we have been negotiating for a new £100,000 Italian Big Dipper ride to replace the Wild Mouse".
