London City Coaster is a steel roller coaster located at Verkeers- en Attractiepark Duinen Zathe in Appelscha, Friesland, Netherlands.
History
This roller coaster opened at Spanish City Amusement Park in 1990 and was called Cyclone.[1] It operated until the park closed in 2000. It is not known whether the Cyclone operated prior to coming to Spanish City. After it was repainted, it opened at Lightwater Valley on 3 April 2004. It operated until 2008, when it was purchased by the Dutch company Buwalda and subsequently removed in early 2009.[2] who renovated the ride and renamed it London City Coaster.
During Christmas 2009, London City Coaster operated inside the 02 Arena in London. It also operated at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in 2012 as Alpine Coaster.
In 2017, the roller coaster was setup at Verkeers- en Attractiepark Duinen Zathe after being sold. It opened on 14 April 2017.
