Renegade is a Great Coasters International wooden roller coaster located at Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minnesota, USA. Its layout is a combination of an out and back and twister. Opened on May 12, 2007, it is the newest major coaster at the park (Cosmic Coaster opened in 2011).
History
Renegade was announced on September 21, 2006.[1] It opened on May 12, 2007.[2]
Design
Renegade's 91 foot tall first drop twists in two directions - first to the right and then subsequently to the left. The ride also has a high speed station fly-past.
Trains
2 trains with 12 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 24 riders per train. Millennium Flyer trains.
