Great Coasters International, or GCI for short, is a wooden roller coaster manufacturer in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA. It was founded in 1994 by Clair Hain Jr. and Michael Boodley.
Trains
Millennium Flyer
Millennium Flyer trains were designed by Great Coasters International to be more flexible than other trains, allowing them to negotiate tighter turns, reduce damage to the structure of the roller coaster and provide a comfier ride. The first coaster to use Millennium Flyer trains was Roar at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.[1]
Mini-llennium Flyer
Mini-llennium Flyer trains are similar in design to Millennium Flyer trains, however they are smaller. The first roller coaster to receive the trains is Coastersaurus at Legoland Florida, followed by Tomahawk at PortAventura Park.
Infinity Flyer
Introduced at the 2018 IAAPA Expo, the Infinity Flyer trains are capable of even more tight transitions and flipping through inversions. They are compatible with both the wooden track and Titan Track. The Infinity Flyer trains were designed and engineered by Skyline Attractions.[2] The first installation to use these trains was Zambezi Zinger at Worlds of Fun.[3]
Track
Titan Track
Great Coasters International first teased a new steel track design, later known as Titan Track, at the 2019 IAAPA Expo. The product is weld-free and allows for both modifications on existing rides or new, ground-up attractions.[4] The Titan Track product was designed and engineered by Skyline Attractions.[5] A test section of Titan Track was installed on White Lightning at Fun Spot America in Orlando, Florida, USA in September 2020. In April 2022, Skyline Attractions teased the installation of additional Titan Track on an unknown roller coaster for the 2022 season.[6] These two rides were later revealed to be Wolverine Wildcat at Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon, Michigan, USA and Predator at Six Flags Darien Lake in Darien Center, New York, USA.
