Tidal Wave was a Top Spin variant marketed by Vekoma as Waikiki Wave, located at Flamingo Land in Malton, North Yorkshire, England, UK. Each arm rotated independently and the ride gondola didn't invert. The ride opened in 1993, and was originally named Waikiki Wave.[1]
The ride was left disassembled during the 2002 season to make room for Cliff Hanger, but reopened in a different spot in 2003.[2]
It was rethemed to Tidal Wave in 2004 and moved again, this time in front of Bullet (later Kumali) as part of the Professor Bubbles Seaside Adventure area. It closed at the end of 2008 and was subsequently replaced by Mumbo Jumbo.
