Cliff Hanger is a Drop Tower located at Flamingo Land in Malton, North Yorkshire, England, UK. It is a Space Shot installation from S&S Worldwide and stands 54.86 metres tall. The ride is part of the "Riverside One" area of the park, previously known as "Seaside Adventure".
History
The attraction opened in March 2002 on the spot previously occupied by the Flying Trapeze roller coaster. It was based on a lighthouse, with red and white striped cladding. The following year, the park was forced to remove the majority of the cladding following complaints from nearby residents and councillors.[1][2]
