Wild Mouse originally opened at Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom around 1958 and was later relocated to Chippewa Lake Park around 1970. The ride operated at Chippewa for around 7 to 10 years untill it closed with the park in 1978, and stood abandoned untill 2009.
