HELP

Americana is a Ferris Wheel built by US manufacturer Chance Rides currently located at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, USA.

History

The ride opened in 1999 at Geauga Lake and was called Giant Wheel.[1] It would be later renamed Americana. After the 2007 season, Cedar Fair announced that the amusement park side of Geauga Lake would not reopen for the 2008 season.[2] Americana was subsequently dismantled and sent to Kings Dominion, where it reopened on April 4, 2009.[3]
