The Crypt, originally named Tomb Raider: Firefall, was a Top Spin built by German manufacturer HUSS previously located at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, USA.

History

The ride was announced in 2004 as Tomb Raider: Firefall.[1] It opened on March 19, 2005. Its theme was based on the 2001 movie Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and the Tomb Raider video games.[2] The ride was located across from the entrance to Volcano The Blast Coaster. It was rethemed in 2008 after the park was sold to Cedar Fair.

On January 23, 2020, Kings Dominion announced that the Crypt would not reopen for the 2020 season and that it would be removed to make way for future development.[3] In 2022, it was replaced by Tumbili, a 4D Free Spin model from S&S.[4]
