Arachnidia is a scrambler built by US manufacturer Eli Bridge Company currently located at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, USA.
History
Scrambler opened at Willow Grove Park, later known as Six Gun Territory, in 1962.[1] The ride closed with the park in 1975 and was then relocated to Kings Dominion.[2]
At Kings Dominion, the ride opened in 1976 and was originally known as Witch Doctor.[3]
In 1981 or 1982, the ride was relocated within the park to the International Street section and was known as Scrambler.[4] It remained in that location through at least 1992, but was relocated to The Grove section by 1994.[5] It was relocated within The Grove in 2003 to accommodate the addition of Drop Zone: Stunt Tower.[6]
Scrambler was relocated to the Adventure Village area by 2021. The ride was renamed Arachnidia for the 2022 season.[7]
