History

Construction started in early November 2011 after Kings Dominion was closed for the season. El Dorado was removed at the end of the 2011 season to make room for WindSeeker. The first WindSeeker tower piece was installed on January 20, 2012. Kings Dominion officially opened their WindSeeker on April 6, 2012.
