Old Dominion Line was a Miniature Railway built by US manufacturer Crown Metal Products previously located at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, USA.
History
Old Dominion Line opened with the park in 1975. It featured two locomotives, #552 Stonewall Jackson and #601 Patrick Henry. The ride also included live actors for a period.
Old Dominion Line closed after the 1995 season and Xtreme Skyflyer was built in its place.[1] One of its locomotives, #601 Patrick Henry, is now in operation on Serengeti Express at Busch Gardens Tampa in Tampa, Florida, USA. The other locomotive, #552 Stonewall Jackson, was relocated to Dry Gulch USA campground in Oklahoma. In 2020, it was purchased by Worlds of Fun for use on the Worlds of Fun Railroad.[2]
