History
Old Dominion Line opened with the park in 1975. It featured two locomotives, #552 Stonewall Jackson and #601 Patrick Henry. The ride also included live actors for a period.
Old Dominion Line closed after the 1995 season and Xtreme Skyflyer was built in its place.[1] One of its locomotives, #601 Patrick Henry, is now in operation on Serengeti Express at Busch Gardens Tampa in Tampa, Florida, USA. The other locomotive, #552 Stonewall Jackson, was relocated to Dry Gulch USA campground in Oklahoma. In 2020, it was purchased by Worlds of Fun for use on the Worlds of Fun Railroad.[2]
