Sky Pilot was a Flight Trainer built by Swiss manufacturer Intamin that was previously located at Paramount's Kings Dominion amusement park in Doswell, Virginia, USA.

History

Sky Pilot was built on the former site of Apple Turnover and required a new concrete pad for the attraction's heavy weight.

Sky Pilot opened on March 25, 1989.[1] The ride vehicles originally had canopies on them to prevent loose articles from falling out.[2] The canopies were later removed.[3]

Sky Pilot was temporarily closed in June 1991 following an accident on the similar Flight Commander at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, USA.[4]
