Carousel is a Carousel built by US manufacturer Philadelphia Toboggan Company currently located at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, USA.

History

The carousel first opened in 1917 at Riverside Park in Agawam, Massachusetts, USA. The ride was owned by John Aroldi and was built at a cost of $12,000. It was sold to John Gugliemetti for $13,000 in 1925 but remained at the park. It was sold again, now to George Williams, for $3,000 in 1936.[1]

The ride was relocated to Roger Williams Park in Providence, Rhode Island, USA for the 1939 season. It remained in operation there through 1973.[1]

The ride reopened at Kings Dominion in 1975 after a two-year refurbishment.[1]
