Catwoman's Whip is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags New England in Agawam, Massachusetts, USA. It is themed around the DC Comics antihero Catwoman. It first opened in 2000 as Poison Ivy's Tangled Train and rethemed to Catwoman in 2007.
History
Poison Ivy's Tangled Train was installed alongside Superman: Ride of Steel and Flashback, opening as part of the newly rebranded Six Flags New England on May 5, 2000.[1]
The Poison Ivy theme of the ride was changed to the current Catwoman theme for the 2007 season. A Catwoman statue was introduced as part of this retheme which was moved from Six Flags New Orleans after it was permanently closed in August 2005 due to severe flooding from Hurricane Katrina. This statue was originally used on Catwoman's Whip until closure.
