Kontiki was a Matterhorn built by US manufacturer Chance Rides located at Six Flags New England in Agawam, Massachusetts, USA.

History

Kontiki opened at Riverside Park in 1999.

The ride was originally planned to be removed after the 2007 season, along with Catapult, Rodeo, Double Trouble and Bumper Buggies.[1] Six Flags put the ride up for sale on Irmpri.com (International Rides Management) in November 2007.[2][3] The decision was reversed in December 2007 when the park decided to keep the ride along with Catapult and the ride listing was later removed before the end of November.[4] The ride subsequently reopened for the 2008 season.

The ride closed in 2023 and was removed.[5] It was subsequently put into storage.
