Smurf Mountain was a Tracked Dark Ride built by Arrow Dynamics located at Paramount's Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, USA.
History
On May 27, 1979, the ride originally opened as Journey to the Land of Dooz as part of the new The Lost World themed area.[1]
For the 1984 season, the attraction was remodeled into Smurf Mountain.
Smurf Mountain permanently closed in 1993. The rest of the attractions in the mountain closed in 1995.[2] In 1998, all three attractions were replaced by Volcano The Blast Coaster, an Intamin Suspended Catapult Coaster.
