Olympic Park was an amusement park located in Rochester, New York, USA. The park, which opened in 1931 and closed in 1982, was located at 1300 Scottsville Road across from the Greater Rochester International Airport.[1]
History
Olympic Park was first opened in 1931 by Joseph H. Schuler Sr. In 1981, the park was sold to Amusement Corporation of America. The company stated they would invest over $1,000,000.00 to revamp the park and provide new amusements and experiences. By the following year the park was locked closed and would never return to operating. On October 16, 1982 the park's rides, stands, and other equipment were auctioned off.[2]
