Sidewinder Safari is an upcoming steel spinning roller coaster located at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California, USA. It will be manufactured by Zamperla and is expected to open in 2022.

History

On August 29, 2019, it was announced that Sidewinder Safari would be coming to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.[1] The attraction was expected to open in 2020. However in April of that same year, all references to the ride were removed from the Six Flags website. It was thought that the opening was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.[2]

In December 2021, the ride vehicles began to arrive at the park.[3]

Design

Sidewinder Safari will be a standard Twister Coaster 420STD from Zamperla. The queue line will be safari themed and will include snakes and other reptiles.
