Grand Carousel is a Carousel built by US manufacturer Philadelphia Toboggan Company currently located at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
History
The ride originally opened at Pleasure Park in Evansville, Indiana, USA in 1923. It closed in 1936 and was relocated to the nearby Mesker Park, where it operated through 1973. After closing, it was later relocated to Carowinds.[1]
The ride was renamed from Carousel to Nick-O-Round in 2005.[2][3]
The attraction operated in the park's children's section as Character Carousel. It was relocated within the park in 2018.
