Southern Star was a Ranger built by Intamin previously located at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
History
The attraction opened on March 15, 1986 as Frenzoid.[1] Frenzoid closed in 2005, but was brought back in 2007 under the new name Southern Star.[2] Southern Star was closed on August 1, 2022 in preparation for an overhaul to the park's Crossroads area.[3]
