Flying Ace Balloon Race is a Balloon Race built by Italian manufacturer Zamperla currently located at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
History
The ride opened in 1987 as Boo Boo's Balloon Race. It was later renamed Peper Potamus' Magic Flying Balloons (at times misspelled as Peter Potomus' Magic Flying Balloons). As part of the Nickelodeon Central re-theming in 2005, the ride was rebranded as Boots' Balloon Race, based on the character from Dora the Explorer.
