Hillbilly Jalopies, also referred to as Jalopies Blueridge Detour, was a Track Ride built by US manufacturer Arrow Development previously located at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. The ride featured the company's Jalopy vehicles.[1]
Hisotry
The ride opened with the park in 1973. It closed in 1987 and was replaced with Whitewater Falls, which re-used the track ride's entrance building.[2]
After the ride closed, its cars were relocated to the Carolina Turnpike track.[3]
