Ricochet is a Mack Rides Wild Mouse roller coaster located at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.

History

Ricochet was announced on October 23, 2001,[1] two months after an identical roller coaster was announced at Kings Dominion, which at the time was also owned by Paramount Parks.

The ride opened on March 23, 2002.

Design

Color scheme

Ricochet originally had yellow track with blue supports. For the 2014 season, the track was painted green and the supports blue and teal.[2]

Trains

8 cars. Riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows for a total of 4 riders per car. The colors of the cars were changed for 2020.[3]
