Mind Bender is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia, USA. The ride opened on March 31, 1978 and was advertised as the first "triple looping roller coaster". It was built by Schwarzkopf.

History[edit | edit source]

Mind Bender was advertised as the first "triple looping roller coaster" however it only features two vertical loops. According to the park, the third is a "horizontal loop".[1] This is actually a helix that dives into a ravine. It opened the same year as Shock Wave at Six Flags Over Texas, a similar looping roller coaster.
