Superman Ultimate Flight is a Bolliger & Mabillard flying roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia, USA.[1] It opened on April 6, 2002, about a month after Air opened at Alton Towers. This design has been used at two other Six Flags parks, which are Six Flags Great America and Six Flags Great Adventure.

History

Superman Ultimate Flight was announced on January 22, 2002.[2] It opened on April 6, 2002.[3] It replaced Viper, which closed on September 16, 2001.

Design

Elements

Superman Ultimate Flight is the first roller coaster to feature a pretzel loop. It also has a dual station.[2]

Trains

3 trains with 7 cars per train. Riders are arranged 4 across in a single row for a total of 28 riders per train.
