Serpent is a steel roller coaster located at Niagara Amusement Park and Splash World in Grand Island, New York, USA.

History

The ride originally opened at Noble Park Funland in Paducah, Kentucky, USA in 1987. It was removed in 1988 and relocated to LeSourdsville Lake Amusement Park in Middletown, Ohio, USA, where it operated from 1989 through 2002. The ride closed with the park in 2002 and remained standing but not operating through 2007. It was then disassembled and relocated to Kokomo's Family Fun Center, where it operated through 2019. It was dismantled in early 2022 and was bought by Gene Staples, the owner of US operator IB Parks & Entertainment. It was subsequently shipped to Niagara Amusement Park and Splash World where it remained in storage until 2023.[1][2] It opened on August 27, 2024.[3]
